Just got a Photon 3

Just got my Photon 3 in the mail. This thing is pretty slick. The new electronics are difficult to use, but I guess it's worth it. To switch to the different modes, you must hold down the rear button and it just cycles through the modes. The case design is MUCH better now though, it doesn't come apart in two pieces like the Photon I and Photon II did, it just has a battery cover that pops off...very slick and sturdy. I paid $18.75 including shipping off e-bay. This toy comes recommended.
 
ummm.... yeah, looks to me like an overpriced flashlight. Can someone please inform me as to what the use of this thing is? The only one I can see as having a potential use is the IR one if you're into covert operations (you aren't headed to Afghanistan are you Ander?)

It's more for the "raver" guys.

Ravers usually use this to flash it into the peoples eye's who are on a controlled substance. (you know what I'm talking about)

I used to rave, so I have about four of these, lost two I think. But they make excellent flash lights indeed. One night the power went out and I started up the good ol' photon 2's and BAM it was bright as hell.

I seen the new Photon 3's, they look pretty dope. I'll probably buy one just to see what it does.
 
Oh man~~~ I never know what that thing was called just until now. My grandma gave me two of those things. They are very convient, and quite bright too.
