Opinions needed....

I've got a TT Spark 7 that's been lying around and never been used. I plan on OC'ing my 2.4c to 3.0 on air and was wondering if I should use the Intel HSF it comes with, or should I mount the Spark 7. I'm concerned with function here, and not looks... ;)

Thanks.

A Intel HSF will be good to at least 3.25ghz easily. I've even seen 2.4c (or 2.6c) @ 3.4-3.5's running stock Intel HSF in some Anandtech sigs. It will be quieter than a Spark 7 and you could sell it off.

I'm with QSnexus on this one. The TT Spark isn't a very good HSF. Stick with the Intel HSF, it'll do fine for what you need.
