just got a nice rock chip on my hood...should i use touch up or get that stuff on TV?

that stuff on tv will not work. Get touch up paint and start wet sanding.

I'm in the same boat as you. Only mine id from acidic bird crap..

I was planning on getting some sand paper, some black paint and clearcoat from pepboys, then that was all she wrote...

Guess I will have to rethink my strategy now

Yeah, unless the paint on your car is less than a year old, it probably wont match.
