Hah! beat you all.
Got me a 36" last week :p

Except I think my picture/image is a little dark.
Is that normal?

Other than that, it's beautiful.

Oh yeah. Took my whole family (5 people - 3 of which are girls) to lift that bastard off the van into the den, and on it's stand.

You wussies. I hauled my 43" in the house and set it up by myself.

First of all, there are no 43" wega's (or tube's for that matter... well maybe, but not that I know of. I think the largest is a 40" for any tube).
Secondly, a Wega is MUCH heavier than a standard tube due to the thick piece of glass up front.

I think the 36" is about 260 pounds.
Heavy mofo I tell you :p

Russ must be talking about a Rear-Projection (43 incher). Those are easier to move b/c you can slide them across a surface, and plus, a 43" projection would be lighter than a 36" inch direct-view wega (those things are BEASTS). There is a 60" wega, but it isn't a direct-view set. BTW, I suggest all you guys with wega's or similar high-end sets to go out and buy a calibration DVD like AVIA or video essentials. Trust me, it would make a worlds difference!

Did I say it was a Wega? It weighs more then the 27", but less then the 36".

Yeah, for 8 Big Ones, and it's a RPTV. They just named it the "Grand Wega". Probably a marketing ploy.

Wegas are heavy biatches, when I got my 27 I took it out of the box & put it on my desk by myself. It was a royal pain in the ass.

The weight itself isn't the big problem, they're just so damn awkward thanks to the nice thick glass up front.

But the image quality is tough to beat.
