Just got a new Sanyo SCP-5500(VM4500)

This phone is sweet! The reception is great and it's got a nice blue color that looks so much better than that played out silver. The video clips that you can record are pretty good but nothing to write home about and the camera works well(for a phone). A great phone but the price may be a bit high at $379.

have ya tried the walkie talkie feature? i've heard that spint and verizon's versions suck compared to nextel (since nextel's network was built for that and the others weren't)

Why would you spend that much money on a phone? I can think of alot of better things to spend that extra few hundred dollars on. For example, a good camera.

I really don't know anyone with a ready-link phone so I don't have that feature enabled yet. True, I myself would not spend more than $200 on a phone but it was a gift.
