Iriver...IFP-380T...128 megabytes...early bday present from my brother.

It's pretty cool looking and I'm glad i have a new toy to play with...so exciting, heehee. 😛😀

I've always liked solid state better than hard drive-based models. Congrats - you'll have fun with it.

Those players are pretty good, except they lack expandability, so you can't ever add more memory too it. If you don't mind that, though, you'll have a blast with it.

have fun. i too would like an ipod... 13hr plane trip coming up.. heh. i have to settle with borrowing the bro's iriver slim-x

I've got an ipod. They say 10 hour battery life but that must be maximum under best conditions. Real life I usually get 7 or 8 hours out of it. Which is still good 🙂

i have been wanting to get one of those iriver's. I am looking for a nice little mp3 player that i can take to work out with. I have one of those Riovolt's, but those are a bit too big for working out. The size of those iriver's is pretty tight. plus you get pretty nice earphones. It's surprising to see some sennheiser mx300's packaged with the iriver's, compared to the crappy headphones that come with most cd/mp3/md players. But how does it sound? Does everything work good on it?

Sounds good..and everything works great. I really like this little thing...so fun. 🙂

Those are sooo small and sexy, would be perfect to go skating with. I want the 512 MB model soooo bad, but those are a ton of cash....

You guys need to understand that Ipods are not ideal for all situations. No need to bash everything else out there.
