Ross, it's a great commuter. Works great for light trail riding as well; you just have to be really good with how you ride.

Entity, you need a longer front brake housing. I don't like how it's coming into the cable hanger at an angle like that :Q Also, there appears to be a body in the background.

kermalou, the Mongoose line isn't... how can I word this nicely... "enthusiast-quality" anymore. But I'll give you a piece of good advice: take your new ride to a reputable bike shop and have them do a tune-up on it. It'll work better, for longer, and with less maintenance down the road (or trail) after it's been tuned by someone who isn't paid $5 per bike to slap them together AFAP.
