Wow we just got a new ISP, Express56.com, and are getting rid of our old one, Voyager.net, and it is so much better. It is $9.99 a month as opposed to $22.something and it seems like it is running faster (even the forums seem faster). WOOT!!!!!!!!!!!!

i never topped 38 Kb/s with MSN. Downloads would never go higher than 2.0 kb/s. Then i went to cable. It was a world of a difference. My parents (living in the same house) are still on dial-up, but with PeoplePC.

only goto broadband unless you plan on keeping it for a very long time..

i was on dsl for 8 months and then moved where dsl/cable wasnt available at the time.. the agony of going back to dialup.. it was rough to readjust to 56kbps. thank god i finally got cable installed late last year.. it's been smooth sailing ever since..
