I don't have one, and i want one. preferably something smaller and not real bulky and brick like, i want it to be at least 3 megapixel anyone offer any suggestions? id like for it to be compatable with the powerbook i bought too...?? :-D

...something smaller and not real bulky and brick like...

Careful what you wish for. The compromised piece of equipment (POS) that fills that bill, will have you searching for a replacement in a short time (probably 18 months). Might as well use the camera in your mobile phone. Change that requirement, or you deserve what you get.

lol, id just like something that will nicely fit in my pocket if i wished to carry it around on a trip or something..

...carry it around on a trip...

When I cough up the money for "a trip or something", I want quality shots to remember it. The "trip or something" is gone in a week. Those shots will be around for your great grandchildren to look at.

The canon sd400 or equivalent is a nice camera and very small size. It will probably be a little over $200 but not much and well worth the extra cash.

Yeah, I'd second the Canon PowerShot SD400. It's a fairly good 5 MP camera, is small and light, and costs about $250. If cost is really an issue, go with the 3 MP SD300 instead. Apple used to sell these at their store, too, so you can be guaranteed that they'll work with your Powerbook.

thanks for the suggestions, i think i might go with that canon powershot sd300, i think its what my friend has or at least something very similiar from when i remember looking at it, and i thought it was rather nice.

Yeah the SD300/400/500 would be a good bet. I think any name brand one will be of decent quality. I have a Konica Minolta G500 that rocks. You can get a very nice digital camera of 5MP or less for $250 and under.

Obligatory "stick to Canon or NIkon" reply

There is a reason threads like this get this reply, because they ARE the BEST value for the money...

lol, I thought he said "Stick it to canon or nikon", implying that they suck and I was like WTF?😕 Yea canon makes great cameras, I've got no experience with nikon so I can't comment on them..
