just got a lcd monitor

How do I test for deal pixel?

hey i have that! i'm using it right now.

how bright do you want it? i think mine works great. i have one dead pixel - i saw it when i first got it. i put on a black background and it glows bright pink for some reason.

what is your setting?
contrast is 59 and brightness is 87

I don't think it has dead pixel. the guy that sold the monitor to me told me no dead pixel either. 😀

I never liked viewsonic lcds... I had one for a week and it's backlight died on me. it was new. just my personal experience.

my contrast is 74 and the brightness is 69. its good enough for me.

I've got it too, using it right now! 😀
I got it for free, used, lol. Its image quality is fine, and it's quite bright.
