It's a Flowmaster muffler on there... SS tubing as tips... if you're in NJ, Mufflex did the work. I wanted something stealthy-looking, so cops don't harrass me any more than they already do.

I now have even more severe wheel hop problems... no traction in 1st or 2nd... need to get those motor mounts done but I'm lazy and it's cold.

I don't get why people are so obsessed with mufflers/exhaust?

It changes the sound of your engine(which is everything to a lot of people..), and can add performance.

The ol' buttometer says faster boost response and more power in the middle and up top.
boost gauge says additional 1-2 psi depending on rpm (17max).

Oh, and it sounds nice and bassy... growls like a tiger when I get on it. 🙂

EDIT: yesh, my kaa is da turboesss.

Wow, only took third post for somebody to take a thread crap.

Nice work.

it might not be a thread crap.. perhaps this guy believes more in forced air induction?? 😛 who knows.... but yeah... exhaust is nice cause it sounds good AND gives gains.
also does not compromise any reliability, it's a good mod overall.

gotta love growl.. never buy something that farts... nice and deep is the only way to go!

How much did that cost you? I have a V6 3G and all of the aftermarket exhaust systems (Greddy, Magnaflow) aren't much louder than stock.

That's nice KokomoGST, don't forget to have the tranny mount upgraded as well 🙂

What's a bubble bee?

Something like this...
lol, yes, someone else on ATOT posted this.

BTW, 3G V6 Eclipses don't need 3" catbacks... they don't have turbos and don't make enough power (exhaust) that it would be a restriction.
Thankfully turbos never sound like bumblebees.

Yield, it does compromise one thing... my ability to get on the gas, so I guess I'm saving fuel... BONUS! 😛😉

We have summers and garages too you know 😉
My car's a garage queen but I know some AWD DSMers and even FWDers that just slap on the ye ole snow tires and go nuts. And we wash our cars... a lot. That road salt is da suck. Cars last pretty long here regardless... it's not like Texas where they just run forever but 180k+ miles is pretty common now.
