JUst got a computer loan

i just got a computer loan from my school
i don't really know much about comps but what can i do with 500 dollars...i know thats not much but i was thinking
P3 600 or Celery 2 something i can upgrade later on.

Now that you have some cash, wander up to the general hardware forum and post your dollar amount and you will have heaps of suggestions on a new system. Then head down to the FS/FT forum and buy some stuff.

Don't waste that $$$ on a Celeron. Get a Duron. More bang for the buck.

You could probably get a new case, duron that will overclock to 900+, motherboard, and 128mb of pc133 ram for around $400 shipped. That should suit you well unless you want to play games.
