So, after installing VNC so i can take control of my 3 computers, and msn messenger so i can chat while taking the browns to the super bowl, what other cool things are there for the iPaq once you have it network and internet connected?

This works GREAT w/ VNC as a "remote" for my HTPC!

I've been thinking of doing something like this -- what CF card, what OS on the HTPC, and what program(s) are you controlling on the HTPC? Any setup "gotchas"?

I have one also, and even though it is kind of neat, I never really use it....;(

None of the BB's around here had any left, i physically looked... :(

I ended up impulse buying an AmbiCom CF WiFi card, and it seems to work fine so far, haven't gone outside or anything w/ it

oh, and about using it as a remote... i just said which CF card, it's got PPC 2002 on it, and i'm using VNC, and setup was a snap

I war drive with my Toshiba e740 :) can't beat built in CF, 802.11b, and SD! I'll post from my sleeveless e740 soon :D. There are some cards that support Ministumbler or Pocket Warrior and some that don't. I have no idea about your Ambicom card. Go check out their homepage at here and here for Pocket warrior

I use a VNC with my Visor prism and I love it! :D

Great for changing songs at parties when the computer is locked away in the room

Which one? I heard the Symbol or Socket CF WiFis are the way to go because they use the least amount of power. Too bad they are twice the price. I'm leaning toward the Netgear as I heard that is good. I also heard the Linksys WCF12 has a lot of problems.
