Just bought this from newegg and as soon as I installed it and started using it I noticed that the CD-Tray is very loose and wobbly when ejected. Has anyone noticed this with theres? I'm wondering if I should RMA it. My Nec 2500A wobbles a bit, but not nearly as much as this. It's a lite-on combo SOHC 5232K.

I also own a Lite-on DVD-RW combo drive, I guess that drive tray is loose when it is open. It is not loose enough for me to think there is a problem. I also own a Sony CD-ROM drive and the tray in it is much tighter when in its open postion. I checked my wifes computer she has a Plextor CD-RW drive it is much tighter in the open postion. So maybe Lite-on drive trays are a little looser then other brands, but if you beleave there is a problem you should return it.

You are not alone. I just got a Liteon LDW851 from Newegg and it too has a sloppy tray. My first drive from Newegg was defective and would not read DVDs. Compared to the LDW411 it's not much sloppier, but compared to the LTD163 it looks like they changed the design. I figure as long as they work well, which they seem to do, I would just overlook the loose fitting tray.
