Ok where is the CPU voltage setting in the BIOS? Surely there is one? I am running OCZ PC3200 memory running dual channel so what would be the best settings to put it on? I am clueless as to how to overclock with these new nforce 2 chipsets. I am use to VIA KT chipsets.

Whats all these extra settings do(memory frequency?).

BTW I am running a 1600+@2100+ default voltage 166FSB. Reason I bought the nforce 2 was because the PCI/AGP lock and would like to push it farther.

Good general guideline for nF2 overclocking is to set the system performance to expert, memory to 100%, drop the multiplier and start raising the FSB. Voltage adjustments and so forth are the same as the VIA except no PCI/AGP to worry about  IIRC they were doing vdd mods on that board, I don't know if there is a newer bios with support or not so you'll have to search that yourself.

I see no voltage setting in the BIOS. So I have to do some kinda mod to run my CPU at 1.8/1.85v? BTW I have a Pally thats not unlocked so I don't think I can play around with the multiplier. I know I won't be able to get much more out of it because its a Pally. But I think I can hit another another 200mhz or so with voltage increasments.

EDIT: Nevermind I overlooked it. The voltage settings are in a section by themselfs. I ain't use to that so thats why I overlooked them.

I don't want to do any mods to a new board. Anyone got any tips for a newbie Nforce 2 owner?

Thanks

BTW is the AGP/PCI locked by default? Is there a app that tells me what they are running at?

AGP/PCI is locked by default and there should be voltage adjustments in the bios as Epox is known for their overclocking features and that board is a good one! You just need to RTFM closer ;) I'd also look at selling your pally and getting a sub 60$ t-bred B to play with since it'll bring out that board's/chipset's full potential

Or just get the XP2500+ and overclock to your hearts desire. :D

I'd love to have a Barton but can't afford $75+ right now. Even though I got that in this board. But board needs to come first. Am talking to a dude with a 1700+ T-bred B that does 2.1Ghz for $40-$45ish so I think this would be a good start? Or no?

That 1700+ B would be perfect for your budget and you will only have 20$ or so in it if you sell your Pally.

the pci is locked by default, but you need to change agp frequency to 66mhz, otherwise it is "auto" which changes when you overclock.
