Just got 4 teeth pulled

I just got back from the docs and well I got 4 teeth pulled. I already had my wisdom teeth pulled like a year ago now I just got 4 more teeth pulled to make room for other teeth in my mouth. I had to get them pulled because I got braces like a month ago and the only way braces are going to work if there is room in my mouth for teeth to move around. The doc said just eat soups and stuff for the first day.

I got 4 teeth pulled when I got my braces too. They're the teeth right behind the canines (bicuspids i think), right? The shot in the roof of your mouth hurt like a bitch, didn't it? 🙂

That was so long ago though that I don't even recall them being there anymore.

ouch getting teeth pulled is no fun

I had 2 pulled about a year and a half ago. I guess my teeth were deeply rooted because it took the orthodontist 3 tries to get one of mine out. I'm getting a headache just thinking about it

I'd never get teeth pulled for braces unless I had a SERIOUSLY screwed up grill. I have one bottom tooth that sits a little behind the tooth to the left of it, it's hardly noticeable, but my dentist wanted to put braces on to fix it. Right when she said, "Ok, first thing we're going to do is remove your wisdome teeth", I was out of there. I have 4 wisdome teeth, FORGET THAT. Removing 4 teeth to fix one tooth that's hardly out of place???? Screwy 😕

That sucks man. Had 4 teeth pulled about 8 years ago, the shots did hurt like hell. Doc didnt' get one of the nerves numbed, and when he started pulling the tears starting flowing.

Funniest thing though was that afterwards, we went to get something cold to drink, whilst my face was all numb. I remember getting a sprite from Wendys, my face was so numb that I couldn't tell my lips weren't closed, so the sprite was running up the straw, then right back out onto my shirt. Wish I had a pic of that one...

Wisdom teeth removal usually isn't that bad. They usually put you under the knife rather than pull them. I've done both and I'd MUCH rather go through wisdom teeth removal than pulling teeth.

haha...yeah, I remember those days. Going back to school while my mouth was still numb and trying to drink from the water fountain was quite an experience...

4 wisdom teeth, and 4 other teeth out. So, you have 24 teeth left. The remaining teeth must be huge that they need more space. Are you a brit?

i feel your pain. i had all but 2 of my baby teeth pulled out because they just wouldent come out and my other teeth were commin in

he's really gary delabte' from the howard stern show. lol

Damn, i had a dentist try to pull a tooth that i cracked in half. he couldn't get the rooted part out, and was like you'll need surgery to get it out. he did something too it and it doesn't bother me to this day. It's been almost a year now.

I prescribe large amounts of jack daniels.. that will make it stop hurting.. Or at least you won't care as much.. 😉

I got my wisdom teeth pulled last week and saturday. Not bad, eating the same night was a little of a pain. I got food stuck in a couple holes that weren't stitched. And it kinda hurt eating, but you do what you gotta do.

I had all four of my wisdom teeth yanked. It wasn't bad at all. The guy that did it was an oral surgeon, though. He pretty much pulled teeth for a living. Dentists really don't pull teeth all that often, and sometimes the patient pays the price for it.
