just got 2 new toys

i have an inspiron 9100, great for gaming with all the right hardware but it's so heavy to lug around. The battery life only last for about 1.5 hrs when i'm using it with my GPS. I just got the 700m and 600m. The 600m come with 4 years warranty for only $900 after rebate I want the 700m cause it's light.

the 700m isn't that light. not my choice for a mobile machine, especially when you have a dtr and mainstreem notebook already.

the 700m is 4.1 lbs. the 600m is 5 lbs. no significant weight savings. latitutde x300 or d400 are better.

If you have the $ for 3 or 5 laptops, why not just get a dell 9100 and a 12" powerbook

if it's "too heavy to lug around" and you use it for games, WHY didn't you just get a desktop?

that's my desktop behind all the labtop

I use the 9100 for lan party. My server cube is too big to lug around. Ever since i got the gps, i needed a small laptop to goes along with it. I was only going to get the 700m but the 600m price was really nice.
1.6 centrino with 2MB cache, 60GB hard drive, 512MB, cd writer. $900 after rebate with 4 years night and weekend warranty. The 9100 came with a dvd burner (nec 6500a) i can use that with the 600m.
