Just got these 2 babies in. NF7-S is the worst board Ive EVER tried to fit into my OEM case. A new case is a near must now :(

The sound quality on this is either absolutely amazing or the onboard sound on my EPoX 8KHA+ was poor.

AXDA1700DLT3C 9824907280570
JIUHB 0308MPMW

Looks like a decent chip.... Consistant core colour.. faint red tint in direct light.... Pwetty colours... Cant do much overclocking yet since my 2x512mb TwinMOS PC3200 hasnt arrived yet. Very stable Vcore @ 1.47V actual (1.5V BIOS). 40.5C idle with my old Volcano 7+ on low.... not the best performing cooler on the market but for being 1 year old, its very nice still... amazing shine on the base. Havent stressed it any yet but we shall see. Going to have to download Prime95 and Memtest... AIDA32 memory scores are up from my 8KHA+ using the same Crucial stick.

Shall wait until my Twinmos is here before doing anything else.

It's not so much as how well they overclock... it's a simple matter of having an nForce2 mobo and a t-bred "B". This gives you the freedom of having a totally unlocked chip...

If you have an nForce2 mobo, then make a paperweight out of the 2000+ and get a "B"

As soon as I get my SLK900 in, I'll be running my 2100+b at 2.4giggerzz... ...be puttin the smack down on these P4-3Ghz H/T wimp chips.

Due to the shipping company needing me to confirm my address and NOT even attempting to contact me, it wont reach me until at least Monday... even though they have had it since Thursday about 10 miles away from house.

Im not pleased although Ive tried 166x10 with my PC2100 and it handled it like a dream... about 1-2C above stock speeds.

Do you have a 1700+ Palimino, t-bred "A" or T-bred "B"?

I just got the exact same stuff earlier this week :D

I tried the Soundstorm for a day or two and didn't like it. It just sounded hollow, kinda flat. Put my Audigy2 back in and the difference is huge. But to each his own.

My chip is 100% stable at 2.4GHz (200x12) -- Primed it for 2 nights all night, and Folding the rest of the day. Right now it's Prime-ing <g> at 2.5GHz, been going for about 10 hours so I think it's gonna do it... man I love this board and chip!

My chip is an 0310 XPMW, and at 2.5GHz I'm running @ 1.8 Vcore.

One more thing, they just came out with a new beta bios and it's a big improvement IMO.

Nice to hear it.

I went from onboard sound to onboard sound and this difference was tremendous. Sound quality doesnt mean much to me as long as it sounds decent. I dont think it would be a very cheap decision to buy a sound card to match this quality.

Nice chip although Im not going to up my Volcano 7+ speed setting from low so Im not going to blow away the V7+ overclock record or burst my eardrums either.

Havent trusted Beta since the Greeks made their Alpha-bet so Ill just wait until its properly released.

LOL! My bad! Helps to not scan the threads with the mrs. Woods method so much ;) Considering that I'd say either that 2100DDR or board is holding him back to not have better results with that CPU.
