I can't wait until my contract with Cingular expires and I can switch to someone that carries good Motorolas. I am so tired of my Nokia 8290 and it's horrible reception, and on top of that, Cingular sucks.

that phone is nice. i was looking to buy it a few weeks back, but it was too expensive. how much did you spend?

yeah...it didn't come cheap. Just for the phone is $419.99+tax through Verizon.

Still, it didn't beat the cost of my nokia 8860 when if first came out (for $750 something+tax).

Too bad this phone does not allow customizable ring tones. Even though the ones that came
with it is pretty sweet. Got tired of listening to the ones on my un-customizable 8860 for awhile.

I was looking at the same phone, but I've heard some bad things about the battery life? How is it working out for you?
