cable modem, finally fixed, after a week of off line, oh the relief..
feels sooo nice to be back on...

now any one know how to purge windows 2k's network settings back to those fresh after install? something I did made it start asking for my login name and password every time i boot into it, and recently (after the cable died) i did somthing so it won't access the local area network right any more. Any one got any suggestions??

I've had broadband for well over a year. (First DSL, now cable.) And yet, I still have my v.90 USR modem in my system. It (along with NetZero) has been my salvation more than once.

i have my dial up modems in my computers too.

i have had DSL since before spring break last year.
