All I can say is wow, this mouse is so percise and smooth. I just played a couple games of Q3 Instagib and am winning a race to 50 frags against 4 others in less then 3 minutes and by an average of 30 frags on various maps. I didn't even play with the sensitivity settings yet. Was skeptical that it would increase my accuracy enough for me to notice, but so far its by far and away the best mouse I've had, plus is lightweight, comfertable to hold, and I think it looks pretty cool to boot. Two thumbs and a toe up if your looking for a gaming mouse, picked mine up for $45 shipped. Thats all.
 
A Dell and Logitech optical, Logitech was from like 4 years ago and the Dell was fairly new. I also use an MX700 with my laptop but its horible for gaming I think.
 
i went from the lowest end microsoft optical to a mx1000, imagine my shock and pathetic attempt to get used to the accuracy and feel for it (after 5 days its like an orgy for my hand)
