Just found out that my brother, a supposed pc guru...

He has a nice hp laptop. He has had it for about 2 years. Great machine. 2500 barton cpu, ati graphics, 40 gig hdd. Nice. So i go over there because he is complaining about his usb isnt working to get his ipod shuffle working with it only to find the hard drive so fragged that it looked like a damn rainbow. It was also full. Completely full. So much spyware, malware, and just sh1t all over it. Then i asked him if it worked before he started working with his new cell phone (new pda cell phone) and he says yea. So i just tried to power it down and restart and it wouldnt even do that. So i said, how do you turn this thing off? He says, i have to hold the power button to get it to power off. I said OMFG! He doesnt even realize that the hard drive spins pretty much constantly on that thing. No wonder its facked. No wonder its fragged from here to egypt. No excuses, hes educated, and he doesnt even know anything about lappys. My god. Ok, rant over.
 
Its funny, but often I find the most screwed up PC's on the desks of people who should know better... just another example of it here.
