Just found out something shocking about an employee at work (now with link)

This actually happend months ago, and this department is located in Charlotte, North Carolina. I was just mentioning to the co-workers here that I haven't talk to this guy on any network issues conference call in a longtime.

Turns out, that he was accused of stabbing his wife, then called the next door, telling them that he did something bad. They found his wife in a pool of blood and he tried to take his own life with the said knife.

Nobody has heard from him since and his daughter has been sent back to India to live with her grandparents.

This really tops the story of the other guy at work who's wife was accused of molesting several mentally retarded kids and her own kids.

1 of my coworkers from my old internship got killed by a hit-and-run (it was road rage). they are still looking for the killer.

I don't know, I'm trying to find any news article on it. maybe I'm spelling mecklinburg county wrong.

Last we heard he's still in jail under suicide watch.

Sounds like typical government employees.... do you work for DoD?
 
My old manager(he was my manager when this happened) shot his wife 8 times in parking lot right in front of her family. She had left him and they were getting a divorce and apparently he couldn't handle that. He was going to kill himself afterwards, but a friend of ours talked him out of it. He was one of the nicest and most polite guys I have ever known, literally. He always had a smile on his face, was always laughing at work. Just goes to show that people can just snap in an instant.
 
I used to work tech support for a company whose president (also the founder I think) was killed in Mexico by a coworker (the two went down there for a business deal). That coworker tried to make it look like a kidnapping. Last I heard, he was arrested there and the Mexican authorities wouldn't extradite him.

Google is great.
