Just found out PartitionMagic is no more. What to use for W7?

I used this years ago up to version 8, and heard how Symantec bought the company and was offering it.

Now I see they discontinued it.

I know about G-Parted but I want something I can use from within windows. Using that is a bit more 'complicated' than I want; having to make a USB boot and rebooting to it = yuck.

Anyone have any other recommendations?

I really like Acronis Disk Director. It will create bootable Rescue Media on CD or Flash - and is very easy to use.

easeus. they have a paid version, that is just the same as free but comes with a boot cd. thing is, you cant do half the shit with the boot cd as you can with the software in windows. i got the paid version for free at one time, but im glad i didnt have to pay for it because that boot cd is pretty useless.

I have the professional version of easus during one of their free runs, but seriously as said the free is just as good as the pro for most needs and I love it above any other software for partitioning. It's just plain awesome.

Windows 7 does a lot of dynamic partition and volume management live now, for anything it can't do I always feel safer doing it from a Live CD running something like gparted.
