The company I work for got bought out. It's a earnings based buyout; where they don't technically "own" us for four years, and at the end of 4 years the more profitable we are the more money our shareholders (workers) make.

so; the buying company has partial jurisdiction (mainly HR stuff) over us. I'm a systems support specialist (mainly desktop stuff) and am hourly. With this new company ANYONE hourly is part time, and anyone salary is full time.


Looks like I'm either going to salary or finding another job.
