I did this for fun...

to see if it would boot..

got into windows... took the screenie... tried running prime then BAM... froze 🙂

but still...

Shim you inspired me to go for broke 😀 I posted at 12.5x200 = 2500 @ 1.7v, started booting into windows but my graphics got all garbled and then it crashed 🙁 I guess the agp bus was too high for my gf3. Stupid stupid kt333....

my first barton will be here either... tomorrow or friday yay!!!

zsouthboy: i only needed 2.0 volts or 1.94 actual to get into windows... computer keeps rebooting when i try 2.1 volts..

if my first barton goes sour.... then i'll try a few more... and i'll bench my new barton against my 2.5 ghz 1700+... it'll be interesting to see if the extra cache can over come the higher clockspeed of the 1700+

radeon 9700 pro or geforcefx 5900
2 x 256 megs of ram for dual channel preferably pc3500 or higher
19 inch monitor
legal copy of windows xp pro
and many more barton processors to come! 🙂
