Just fired up the new rebuilt 9554 in win 10. I have problems I need help with.

First it had no file remote_hots, so I made one, and correctly edit it. edited the remote_gui file, and rebooted. boinc tasks still won't even see it. I even turned the firewall off !

edit 2 :deleted this problem it corrects, 8 tasks in primegrid.... duh..... Its late.

HELP !!!!

OK, I found the issue I think. at some point windows asks you if boinc is OK to do stuff, and I said yes, and it all works. But I did not see that for at least a day.

close problems, all solved and thanks ! Stupid windows.

I've seen that on some Windows machines as well. It occasionally doesn't ask until the computer is rebooted several days after Windows is installed.
