Crash N burn I just played too! That game is pretty amazing as well..lol

At the time that I purchased this..many moons ago..the choice was between the Jaguar and the 3D0 (or of course the Neo Geo but that was out of my price range)

The jaguar offered Alien vs Predator...but the weird controller turned me off..so I never bought one..

I think I might go look around for a Neo Geo cart system sometime though..

What I wouldnt give for a pixel perfect version of Samraii Showdown II and III on XBL or PSN. I dont want it to be flashier, no new GFX--just an awesome straight port.

I still use my 3DO! Still play the first NFS game on it (3do exclusive at the time) and the system still rocks. Doom killed it tho, ug, worse game conversion. I love the controller. Has the built-in headphone jack. Some weird games on it. BallZ, that was weird yet fun.

3DO had two games I liked. FIFA soccer and.......don't know the name, but some army game where you battled an opponent using a tank or helicopter.

Still have my 3DO. Hooked up to an old TV in the den. My wife (girlfriend at the time) paid $700 for it. Next month we'll be married 13 years.. its an old system. :) Of course, I have the original, FZ-1. Not the crappy knock off.

I really enjoyed it. Most games that were cross platform, were better on the 3DO. Fifa, Road Rash, NFS, Madden, and several others. I was so excited about the M2, but nothing ever happened.

You obviously haven't tried the SNES version of DOOM.

Ah, I remember screwing around with it at a kiosk everytime I went to the mall when I was young. Loved that top-down view, blowing crap up with a tank and helicopter game. Lucky I didn't have the money to buy it.

I wasn't a fan of the 3DO, but my collection wasn't comlete without one. It's gone now!
I still have the damn Jaguar that I modded for S-Video and RCA audio out though. :)

I had one..i remember my snes went bad and i traded about 20+ games in at ebgames and got a 3DO with 12 games lol...eventually i had a lot of games for it, i enjoyed it...gex was awesome. Then it collected dust and i think one of my first seller ebay items was it..i think i got close to $300 for it at the time. I had the original model also..There was an updated Panasonic and a Goldstar model?

Just remembered the name, its Return Fire.

Also, another one I liked was Gex.

Way of the Warrior - terrible
Shadow warrior -terrible
Drug wars -terrible
Twisted -terrible

Every single game I played for that system was absolutely awful. Tightly integrating FMV in to games is an awful idea.

Star Fighter was an awesome game. I also still have the compression cd that allows you to compress the memory for more game saves.

There were some decent ports to 3D0

Syndicate (Always fun)
Sim Themepark (Fun)
Cyberia (Cool FMV with Tia Carrerre or however you spell the wayne's world babe)

Alot of cool originals. I just saw a show called "Beyond 2000" debuting the system at 700+ dollars..lol..

alone in the dark was awesome on 3DO, to bad you can't emulate the games if you no longer own the system :frown:
