Just finished Return to Castle Wolfenstein again...

IIRC there are newer Wolfenstein games. If I enjoyed RTCW, am I likely to enjoy whatever other ones there are ('The New Order' springs to mind)?

The New Order is an amazing game, best FPS I played in years. It's a fresh take on Wolfenstein while staying true to it's core.
The Old Blood is basically a re-imagining of RTCW. I wasn't as blown away as when I played TNO but it's still a great game.

These can both be had low prices now, you have to play them.

Works fine on my mine (Win 7). Did you apply the recommended unofficial patches?

I didn't need to apply any patches to get RTCW working on Win7 - though it did crash at the end of the first or second mission because I had tweaked the cfg file to run the game at 1080p. After that I played at 1280x1024. Graphics card: 380X

One other issue I had with it is one that others online have reported, being that the game doesn't seem to perform well after a while, and I think the problem occurs after a new level loads, so what I did was to quit and restart the game between levels. After I did that, no problems. Before I did that I saw massive frame rate drops at times.

rtcw was the best multiplayer. Dirty bomb is the spiritual successor to this. Splash damage. I keep saying it but yeah dirty bomb is the fps to play on the computer if you like classes and good gun play.

On Win 7 64 I have no trouble at all playing RTCW SP...it runs perfectly on the laptop 7870. I downloaded New Order on the main computer, but haven't played it yet.
