all i have to say is: WOW. this is an amazing book. i haven't read much since 8th grade but this book makes me only wanting more of her books. Great book!

I had to read it in English 2. I hated the book at the time, but looking back at the rest of horrible books we read, it wasn't that bad. We had to read so many chick books that year.

That book was freaking amazing. Very well written and moving.

And it's not just a "girl's book." Anybody that says that about Amy Tan's books probably doesn't even know how to read. Either that or they are stupid.

You should all read this book.

Oh, and another one I reccomend is called The Killer Angels by Michael Shaara. This one is about the Civil War. Very cool.
