I have the hardcover all-in-one book. I love this book.

I had the paperbacks first and then got this book. It's black with gold lettering right?
I saw it in a book store one day and I just had to pick it up.

If you like Douglas Adams, you have to check out Terry Pratchett's Discworld series. The Discworld series is set in a fantasy world that parodies our real world.

someone recently got me into Discworld by telling me it was like douglas adams, only fantasy. so i *had* to pick it up.

im loving it so far.

There's been more than one omnibus, I have one that's more like your standard hardcover with a dust jacket.

I can't get enough of the Discworld. I've read all of the main Discworld novels so far, I have the next one on pre-order, plus I have several other sort of spin off books and stuff they made.

Right now I'm reading Science of the Discworld 2. There are 3 books in this series. Basically th wizards create Earth using magic and they are watching it and trying to figure it out. Each chapter alternates between the story and then actual real world science and talks about lots of different stuff and how it works, etc.

Its pretty cool, but even though they try to use Discworld examples and make it fun, a lot of the science stuff can get pretty boring, especially if you have no friggin clue what they are talking about. I find myself wanting to just read the story chapters.
