How is the video quality? Are you running Windows or OS X? Which converter did you use?

man I wanna upgrade my 4gb too, but I think I might just stay with it. My videos and songs didn't fill it yet.

did you end up paying restocking fee and then upgrading?

video quality is SUPERB. Used handbrake, with my own iphone preset. started with the ipod setting, width to 480, bitrate to 750 kbps

paid restocking fee.

Bravo! I got stuck waiting about two hours for my train today and what did I do? I watched Snakes on a Plane which I made using Mac the Ripper and VisualHub. They have built in iPhone presets so I used second to the highest and I believe it took up between 600-750mb I can't remember exactly. Quality was really good and it sure passed the time.
