Wow, the game just like...ends. There's hardly any story and it only took me 4 hours to finish the campaign.

completely uninspired, generic, linear modern warfare fps...the CoD games had better campaigns than this...

Four hours is insanely short. Is the MP decent?

Did you play it on easy?

medium, and the game was a cakewalk. You can get ammo from your teammates when you get low so no need to worry about that. Hell, I rarely picked up enemy guns because of that. you only get attacked by a few enemies at once in most sections and then once they are dead you move forward to a new section and rinse, repeat. the most challenging aspect was trying to see the enemies as they blended in the with surroundings so well.

I think it took me 13 hours for MW2 and 11 hours for Black Ops.

Steam says 43 hours total for MW2 SP but that seems high. I know I spent some time looking for the intel. Does the Spec Ops mode fall under SP? Thats the only thing I can think of to get that many hours on MW2 SP.

my steam account says 9 hours logged in it and that includes a couple hours doing achievements and pausing the game for meals and stuff.

Maybe I'm in the minority but I thought the MoH campaign was better quality wise than the last several CoDs. Yeah, definitely too short, but they seem to have gotten the 'feel' right. CoD also needs a major graphical overhaul. I might have put Bad Company 2 as best single player FPS campaign of the year except that every single map is covered in dust or snow or smoke so thick you can't see where you're going half the time.

Multiplayer is good...best shooting in any multiplayer FPS. Some maps are designed around choke points, which make them one sided. The only thing wrong with it is...well, it needed more everything. More maps, weapons, classes, gametypes, etc. What is there is excellent, but there isn't enough to sustain a community. I played one month after release and there were maybe 1000 people playing at any given time. With the last BFBC2 VIP maps (Oasis, Cold Front, Heavy Metal) and Vietnam, I would be surprised if anyone is playing it now.

I hated this game. Way too much bum-fuckery and cut scenes, not enough good game play.

The shooting was terrible when I played the beta which was basically the game on release. Every game had practically zero recoil. Too easy to get kills. I don't know if they have changed it though since I never bought it cus I thought it sucked.

I never played the beta but there is recoil in the retail version. Less than a game like BFBC2, especially with the suppressor barrel attachment. Very little bullet drop, if any, but considering the size of most of the maps bullet drop shouldn't factor in anyway. Shooting can be surgical. There isnt anything artificial to hold you back and require perks like grip, steam aim, etc. I would think a special forces guy would shoot the same way.

Wow, you mean I am not the only one that was annoyed by the dust/smoke/snow in Bad Company 2 ?? I thought it was just my old eyes that had trouble seeing LOL.

Anyway, I did like the campaign in BC2, and it ran much better on my computer than Blops. I liked the campaign in Blops too, but was very frustrated by the stuttering problem that persisted even after all the patches.

10 to 15 hours sounds about right for either to me on normal for a decent player. I am not that good, so it probably took me longer. I am sure my grandson who is 13 could probably finish either in less than 10 hours.

this game is sooooo overpriced, like 50 in many places. For what it offers, I'd be able to buy COD4+BC2+BC2:V which definitely offer loads more fun and enjoyment.

Did you replay on the hardest setting? I have played all the MW games on the highest difficulty setting from the outset since I knew they would be rather short. Took me about 20-25 hours to finish mw2 since I had to redo a few parts till I had it right..

no, there isn't enough there to make me want to replay it.

I thought the new Medal of Honor SP Campaign was great.

And then I purchased BlackOps - ignoring the month+ waiting for a patch so that it would run decent, the SP Campaign feels like everything is at "ludicrous speed" - no pacing, and uninteresting story.

so what exactly do you guys like about the MoH campaign?

there's no overarching story, its just literally 1 mission after another. go kill these guys, go clear that village, uh oh, we're under attack while traveling.

The gameplay itself was terrible. like i mentioned, there is no challenge at all. crouch and lean, crouch and lean, lase a target, crouch and lean. weapons had little to no recoil and again, you can get ammo from your teammates at any time. Even though I did die it was because I couldn't see where the f-ing enemy was. I never felt like "oh shit, this is tough, i might die!" as i mentioned before, the biggest challenge was trying to see enemies or figure out wtf i was supposed to do (sometimes the game gave you no clues). Even the mission where you snipe the bad guys from like 5 miles away was a piece of cake.

Even the missions where you get to target for the AC-130 were no fun.

They just shamelessly ripped off the Modern Warfare games and it was a horrible ripoff at that. hey lets ride ATVs (which is a ripoff of BC2 which ripped off MW2's snowmobiles)! the most eventful thing there was "ooh, trucks ahead, turn out your lights and stop" or "big jump!", plus the ATVs handled like ass.

graphics and sound were sub-par, imo.

I'm not saying the latest CoD games were perfect but they were 100x better and more fun than this crap.
