Just finished Bad Company 2

OK so I am a couple of years behind the mainstream, but I just finished Bad Company 2 singleplayer. I thought the graphics were great and the storyline was a blast, what fun! I had to have something to try out my new build and it ran and looked great on the new machine. I hope they do a sequel, the Russians are coming.

I thought it was ok (gameplay and good graphics) but stopped playing when I couldn't destroy the 2 helicopters at the top of the castle wall (?). Glad I only paid $ 5 for it but hear that multiplayer is good/great...I just haven't tried it yet.

I'm an old guy and my reflexes are not good enough to do online gaming so I am kind of stuck on single player games, but I just got a new S&W AR 15 so I can go out and blow away paper targets, they don't shoot back.

Have beaten the singleplayer about 3 times now, multiplayer i play nearly every
day and there isn't many playing this game anymore,to many moved over to BF3.

Most of the maps like laguna alta for example have nothing by empty servers the majority of the time, while others like Laguna presa have only one active server hosted by kos and basically all that happens there is base rape and spawn killing, nothing but freaking kiddies.

Don't waste your time playing the multiplayer anymore,i think the community will fall deader then dead before you rank to 50,it is that slow at times.

Single player was ok, the jokes between the people did get a little lame, it just seemed forced at times. Multiplayer is where its at, or used to be

People enjoyed the singleplayer? 😛

I used to bitch at length about how awful it was, but as someone who doesn't play MP hardly at all, I just accepted that SP was an afterthought, and let the MPers have their fun with it.

So I didn't let it get under my skin.

I agree with the OP. BFBC2 single player campaign is still my all-time favorite. To me, Haggard is one of my all-time favorite video game characters. But I think you have to live in Texas to truly appreciate his wit......so most people just won't get him.

I don't play MP at all (never will).....I have a life (work, wife, kids)....why do I want to spend my one hour of free time a night getting my ass kicked by 13 year old kids who play/practice/mod 20 hours a day? That's not what I call "fun".

I never finished the SP, it was buggy at release. The game wouldnt save and I would have to start over at the end of a certain level every time. Gave up on them ever fixing it and just played the MP.

Are you in Europe or something? Sure there are much less servers since BF3 but I can still find enough at any reasonable time in the North America region.
And perhaps I'm lucky but I rarely encounter kiddies or immature players, and they're usually easy to deal with.

I agree, I thought it had a great SP campaign, and looked and ran great....was fun....I hope for another also.

I only play SP -- I thought the campaign was great ---and still replay it once in a while. Hope thay make a sequel -- however, I can't believe these were the same guys that offered the SP in BF3 --- the SP in BF3 was a steaming pile of QTE and just completely sucked. I hope BFBC2 has an SP sequel. However, seeing that it will likley require Origin it will be a non-purchase for me.

I also liked the BC2 single player campaign. Had a great time with it. Then logged a couple hundred hours in MP that I absolutely loved.

In comparison the SP campaign in BF3 is absolute utter trash. Absolutely terrible. Have a couple hundred hours logged in BF3 MP and I think I like the BC2 MP better.

I love single player. I always play it first.

I am working on MW3 on my 360 before touching Multiplayer.

I agree, BC2 had the best single player of any modern war game in the past few years. (That I've played)

Adam, I see you are playing LA Noire. I just purchased it on steam's summer sale but have not started it yet, how do you like it?

I rather enjoyed the single player campaign. Likeable characters, and I thought game was fairly lengthy.

Maybe I'm just slow.
