Rly dim lights, fluros on the fishtanks worked, and the pump did, but the powerheads didn't, computers crashed but fans kept running, fridges appeared to work (but i turned them off anyway)...

Maybe it was wallaby hax...

Arent those called brown outs? We had a spell of them a while back under our former govener Grey Davis.

I've no idea, i've never had one before, It's always been all or nothing.

That happened here at the office last year when one of the big transformers behind the building blew up. The mains voltage dropped low enough that my office fan barely rotated. Was a pleasant 2-hour break from normal office activity. It's a shame that transformer doesn't blow up more often 😀

Lights worked a bit, clocks etc, but my shower didn't 🙁 It was a cooold wake up that morning.

i did once it had happened 😛

I didn't have prior warning 😉 I also turned off most of the other appliances in the house.
