Just emailed the newslady for a date. What are my chances?

I'm feeling 'what the hell'-ish today, so I emailed the cute local newslady, asked her for a date. I have a friend at the station, asked him to set us up, but I guess he chickened out. So screw it, I sent her an email. Wierd? I figure I'll prolly never run into her in person, so how else could I ask her out. And no face-to-face embarassment if she turns me down. I told her to ask my buddy for a personal ref on me if she wants. Think I have a chance?

Personally I doubt it, but if ya don't ask.....

if she's never met you before, then my guess is that she'll be weirded out by a random email asking her out...

Can you post the text of the email please so that we can accurately judge HOW INSANELY GEEKY YOU ARE THINKING THAT YOU CAN ASK OUT THE TV NEWSCHICK IN A RANDOM EMAIL?!?!

When you say you were feeling 'what the hell-ish', can I assume that it means drunk?
