I dont think you can set max uploads = 0. I hate those modem tricksters, but I catch on quick. I look at ping more than the listed connection type.

you could set it to 0 in beta 5 and I heard 6. Not in beta 7 though. I'm still using beta 5

I also set my modem to 14.4 b/c I really have a 56k and I won't want some guy stealing my precious bandwidth. but then again, remember that whoever lies about having a 14.4 does not want anybody to d/l from him so he'll probably cancel the d/l at 50%.

The best way to minimize uploads is to set your connection to 56k or 128k ISDN. Then it's not too obvious.

I can use a dial-up and get 5MB song in a about 30 minutes

I have mine set at 128k ISDN...nobody downloads from me.

Beta 7 here and no one can get songs from me . Yea, the 14.4 always seem to have the 130MB mixes....
