I would have to take alocholic content into the equation to really determine best "bang" for the buck. This is a complex topic :)

Beer is the one area of life where I admittedly am a snob. Even very high-end beer isn't expensive enough to make me seriously consider buying something like Miller. Hell, I am, right now, chilling a 4-pack of Mojo Risin' Double IPA that cost me $14. It's worth it to me!

Best bang for the buck are Hurricane cans. About $2.19 for a six pack of pounders. Beats most 40's for value.

Well, I'm going out to get the Guin-eye tonight probably.

The cham-pag-in of beers, huh?

I'm pretty sure that the OP was referring to Miller 64. High Life does have a taste, whereas he specified none.

Oh, and if they're not test-marketing M64 near you, its a 12oz Miller product w/ 64 calories. It's basically slightly alcoholic water. It's not bad for the job, really.

Miller Lite is where it's at when all I want is a damn beer or I'm just fueling myself up for some sledding or igloo-making up in the mountains.

If I'm eating a burger or pizza, I want a real beer, though.

I am a cheap beer snob. Bud Light, Miller Lite, MGD, Michelobe, Dos Equis - all decent.

But MHL - I'd rather drink some Natty Ice..

I'd consider myself a cheap beer snob too, so I have to ask... what's wrong with natty ice?

Actually, I've never had Natty Ice - just Natural Lite (which is pretty bad.) I assumed Ice was worse.

I guess we all have ours levels of tolerance. I thought mine was pretty low, but I see people below me! ;)

for some reason MHL and MGD give me serious GI problems the next 24h. I like to drink Mich Ultra Amber to watch the carbs, but if I'm going all out (at home) give me a Winter Hook for now. I'll re-address the issue in the summer. At the bars I usually get a Bud Light bottle.

I used to drink $2, 23oz Amber Bocks daily in college, however can't find AB now, though, I'm not looking very hard.

The cheapest I'll go is Blue Moon.

As for Miller and all that other crap, bleh.... Beer shouldn't be clear!

For cheap beer, Pabst Blue Ribbon is decent in bang-for-your-buck.
Bud, Miller, Coors etc...all crap.

well, when you consider the saturation of Guinness throughout the world (See, even spell check recognizes it), it absolutely fits the description of "nothing special." that and it's rather bland, flavorlessness.

Fat Tire is quickly becoming overexposed over here, as well; and is far from the best beer to come from New Belgium. Flying Dog, also of the Fort Collins area, is much more creative with their recipes than is New Belgium. ....and when you consider that the trip throughout Belgium was the inspiration for his brewery, his beers really don't resemble anything to come out of Belgium....
