I usually left steam in the default view since it gave alot of info and was easier to see my 100+ games but upon messing around with the views I was pleasantly surprised!

On the htpc in the basement connected to the projector I switched it over to grid view and fell in gametastic LOVE

Seeing all the games like that on a big screen all playable without getting up from the couch made my buddy drool..now If I could figure out how to use a wheel and pedals from the couch my wife may have to forcibly force me off that couch with a jaws of life...

Get a Wheel Stand of some sort, I even have a thread somewhere on this topic... I still haven't decided on one, but I want/need one, and want it badly.

A good wheel stand will hold it all up for you, and you can use it from any chair or couch desired, the only thing you need to worry about is the connections: make sure the USB and Power cables can get plugged in from where you sit. If necessary, extension cables could be used for both USB and Power.

edit:
ah, here we are: To the Virtual Racers: do you use a racing wheel stand?

and on topic:
you just made me discover Grid View as well. I just switched to it, and zoomed all the way out. I like. :)

Cool stuff destrekor, I may troll around the junkyard for a junkout sports car for the seat and make something in the garage over the winter. That 200 dollar stand didnt look that stable. I may also try adding a crossbrace on a old lazy boy I keep in the garage for beer and car days and see where that takes me.

If I go nuts ill make a thread!
