Just discovered a weird speaker problem could be related to power...

So I just built a new computer and I stuck my M-Audio Revolution in there and the sound keep cutting out every 2-3 minutes. I thought for sure its something with the computer but I couldnt figure it out. But just now I went to go turn the fan in my room off I flipped both switches down and the sound cut out. Then I flipped them up and they cut out again.

So unless my roommate is hiding behing me and flipping them off an on every now and then, I have to assume its the power. The thing is, my reciever is hooked directly into the wall with nothing else plugged into it. I also never had this problem before the M-Audio.

So maybe it is the computer. I have an Antec True Power 550 in there with these specs:

Athlon 64 3400+
DFI LanParty 250gb nf3
1gb Corsair 2700 Value Select (waiting on PDP 3200 to come back from RMA Repair)
and 5 hard drives!!

Anyone have a clue what it could be?

Mike
