just did girly pushups to failure

can't do regular push up cos wrists are killing me from repetitive motion injury / carpal tunnel

so got on the conference table and did a few sets of girly push ups (or modified pushup
where the decline phase is in a downward swooping motion, w/ the head leading)

man really felt the burn (must be the decline action, working the front delts)
 
fitness buffs ,gauge yrself against past champs

at my fittest, i used to be able to do 15 dead hang overhand (palm facing away) shoulder width pullups in 1 set....after 4 year exercise layoff i can barely manage 7
(i think palm facing is chinups by definition, palm facing away = pullups)
do you think weight training would accelerate improvements in this mostly body weight as resistance contest training?
 
dead hang overhand? or underhand? hands spread for overhand? or shoulder width🙂 and yea, can't u just do fist pushups and elevate ur feet?
