Just delidded my 6700k!

So I just delidded my 6700k used Thermal Grizzly Conductonaught, here are the results after 10Min of Aida64 before and after.

I'm using an IC Graphite 30x30 sheet between the IHS and CPU block (before and after) so the system is identical other than the delid and Conductonaught.

I expected a decent reduction in temps but dang, 20c on the package and 27c on the hottest core?

Impressive! Always glad to see people getting results this way.

How do you like the IC Graphite sheet? Some reason why you're using that instead of Conductonaut?

Wow that is a fantastic reduction in temps. I also have a 6700K so I'm curious about what method you used to delid it. Was it fairly straight foreword or did you encounter some issues??

I was going to use kryonaught but I have to order some....
The graphite seems to be working well, originally I saw about 3c difference in temps (vs MX4) but they were a tighter spread between core temps.

I thought about using the conductonaught between the block and IHS but wanted to see results strictly with the delid and LM with the graphite.
if I open it up again then will replace the graphite with LM.

I used der8auer's delid tool (Delid Die Mate 2) and I didn't reseal the IHS.

Very straight forword, took me about 2 hours as I had to drain my loop ect...

Side note, I'm also retesting my higher OC's and this was 10min at 4.9GHz 1.430v LLC Line 4 (MSI Z170A Xpower Titanium) which is a little less voltage than my previous attempts but also 31c cooler on the hottest core and 32c cooler on the package.
As for stability Aida has been running the entire time I've been editing this post (16min mark now) and no signs of crashing!
