just curios, because when i got this motherboard it said the best AGP card it could handle is a voodoo 3 (which i have), i have no idea why

which do you want, AGP or PCI??????

ALL agp cards should be backward compatible(well, except for the AGP pro cards, but those are mainly used on workstations and cost lots $$$$).... so that issue is a moot point.

The best PCI card would either be a Voodoo5 5500, a Radeon PCI, or a PCI Geforce2 MX......
