why regurgitate a 5 year old thread....

Not on topic to this thread, but, since you asked anyway, I saw one of the pics on pics.bbzzdd.com Random, found the thread, and it got me wondering:

1. Did OP marry her; and
2. Are there any updated pics?

What is it about this thread that required moderation? Is it that the pics were not too NSFW 5.5 years ago, but are too NSFW today?

I don't know if they were too NSFOT 5 years ago or they just slipped by without notice then, but they are definitely not for any thread except the L&R Babe thread now.
And since the OP hasn't posted in more than a year, he probably isn't going to answer your questions. .

what if he subscribed to that thread, got an email about the reply, then came back just because someone bumped his thread? You could be possibly driving traffic away from the site!

Once the pictures are removed, does a thread get locked just for being necro'd?

If you subscribe, you get notifications whenever someone posts in the thread. So, you do not have to "watch" the thread.

That is true but I have that option off because those kind of things to always fill up ones inbox to quickly. If people want to use it though go ahead. I use software to monitor any forum topic I want even if I am not a registered member on that specific forum.

I have trouble wanting to keep a topic I am subscribed to lets say from my software for instant notifications for longer than even 6 months to 1 year. The amount of notifications, popups, or sounds start to get annoying. Almost have one go off every 30 minutes or so. Depends on the day and time. Can't see how anyone would even care about a topic they posted or subscribed to, however it may be, for over 5 years. That is like 20 years tech time. I know it is not always about tech but even nontech stuff 5 years is a long time. The answer or opinion to the topic may not even matter anymore or have any importance anymore.

Looking at the replies that existed when the thread was first posted, I don't think it would garner much traffic without the pics.

Most threads die out after a while, so the traffic is never that bad.

I stay subscribed SPECIFICALLY for when it get revived months or years later. I like reliving old threads.
