had a big ass thunderstorm roar through here on Saturday morning causing havoc.

Now it's just occasional rain and possible clearing later today.

11C right now.

Heat wave this weekend. 91F right now. I'm glad the AC is working.

It was about the same yesterday. I worked outside for a couple of hours, nothing too strenuous, and I was sweating buckets. Staying in the garage today.

8C here.

South of Ontario and Quebec on the other hand... hydro outages as far as the eye can see. Got called in for OT to help deal with all that. Crazy stuff. They got some huge winds. I think a Tornado went through from great lakes to St Laurent.

just a line of severe thunderstorms. It's pretty normal where I am as we average 25 thunderstorms per summer.

Its been warm enough for planting, but still getting to be 40 overnight. We have site reservations to go camping this weekend, but am thinking its going to be too cold for the kids.
We had predicted frost warnings so cancelled our reservations at amnicon falls.
Doing day trips instead.

Finally warming up again here. 20C right now. Perfect weather. Either way just glad we did not get the crazy stuff they had down south and feel bad for those dealing with the damage.

Unfortunately I've had foot pain for the past few months after snowshoeing and it's only been getting worse in past few weeks, so I'm not very mobile to actually go out and enjoy the weather or do any physical work. I can do small things like mow the lawn but no long walks or working on something all day. I saw a foot specialist and looks like I will need orthotics, but I don't think that will solve anything on it's own, hoping the stretches etc they showed me will help though.

I know this will be asuch of a surprise for all of youse as it is for me...but it's been cool, gray, and drizzly...with highs in the 50's.
(We might break 60F tomorrow...with rain.)

Our 18 y.o. grandson finished his high school graduation requirements last winter just before he came to live with us. The graduation ceremony is next week, so he's taking Amtrak down to do the walk. It will be near 100 on the day.

Waiting at the Olympia-Lacey Amtrak station for our grandson's train...now scheduled to be about 4 hours late...and it's raining like a cow pissing on a flat rock.
Weather guy on the news last night said Puget Sound could get as much rain from this storm as they normally get during the entire month of June.

Beautiful day. 27C, low humidity slight breeze, mix of sun and clouds. I could live with this 365 days a year (well, with sufficient rain).

It's been nice here, mid-high 70s and low humidity, but I haven't been able to open the windows because of all the pollen.

104 here with a 66 degree dewpoint in San Antonio, making it disgustingly humid in addition to the heat thanks to an 18mph Gulf wind that'll take our dewpoint up to 75 tonight probably. This is one of the worst summers I have ever seen out here and it's still two weeks until summer. Most of May was already hideous, with high temperatures above our typical August averages, and June is forecast to be a lot worse.

So sick of summer already. Today wasn't too horrible, only got to 98, but ugh 103 tomorrow and 105-106 on Saturday and Sunday. Obscenely hot for June in San Antonio, especially when we'll have a southeast wind making the air humid as hell too. Usually when we get these kind of temps it'll be from desert air blowing in from the northwest so at least it's not humid, but oh no not this time. 殺してください。

Mon-Tue .... possibly the first 100 degree day since June of '16.

And there may be more than one, which did not happen then. Not sure when we had two ... maybe '12?

Been super dark all day and now just got hit with some small hail followed by very heavy rain, with some thunder and lightning. Fun stuff.

Temp just dropped from 20 to 17 as well.

These rainfalls also show all the weaknesses in my gutters that I need to fix. :p

102 here in Round Rock TX. We just got back from trip to DC last night and we weren't prepared for the heat.

Now I know why people keep their AC on even if they left for trip. When the house had all of the windows closed and no AC running for 7 days.. it took a good 4 hours for the temperature inside the house to reach 78.
