Ugh! -18C, wind-chill is -27C! Chilled to the bone just going out to the car to grab something I left there.
OFC, Red makes us all look like sissies.

Edit: this was this morning. Didn't post for some reason.

Looks like a big system is heading into the Lake Erie area and heading north right into me.

Snow forecasts are all over the map due to the track of the storm. Estimates are from 5cm to 20cm here by Monday afternoon.

Temps should hover around -4C Monday.

@Spacehead It will probably hit you fairly hard.

Was snowing when I went to sleep last night but as forecast temps actually rose overnight and we had several hours of heavy rain which washed most of the white stuff away along the coast. (I'm not complaining!)

Now its partly cloudy, windy and roughly 40f.

Ugh, their annual snowfall (w/lake effect) it twice that of Markham - so, idk what you are talking about.
As in I only get this much snow all at once every ten years or so.

Mostly wind blowing the snow and stopping at the car. Good thing I have a 10.5HP 30" wide two stage snow blower.

About 40cm of snow on my driveway but that is probably wind related.

On the news this evening the snow totals around the area were 15-20in (38-50cm). Since this wasn't a "lake effect" snow it covered the whole area fairly evenly... so far. We could get some lake effect snow overnight & tomorrow.
The winds picked up pretty good today also so that's not helping anything either.

I woke up around 3:30 or so this morning & shoveled out in front of my door so i could make sure i could get out. The screen door open out. Woke up to my alarm again & did it again then said fuck this & called off work.
My plow guy came this afternoon so i should be good tomorrow.

in the far NW burbs of chicago we have seen around 2-3 inches total this winter thus far.
Normally we have 1-2 feet on the ground by now.

But its been crazy mild here all fall and winter thus far. Normally we have like 0-15 degrees in Jan, but, its been around 20-30 pretty much every day.
