Yeah, we're getting the coldest air of the season so far. Highs 20-25F & lows in the mid-teens. I had 3F Monday morning. Getting a little snow almost every day. I don't mind the 1-3 in. everyday as apposed to getting dumped on over night with like a foot of snow.

There is still a spot or two of snow in the deep shade areas from last Sunday, but sat out on the deck in shorts and enjoyed a couple of IPAs this afternoon.

It will be cold in the next few days. The highs will be in the 30's, not lows but highs. Bundle up.

It is 35 right now (at of 6:30 p.m. CST) and it is raining a bit. Will be around 30 or lower tonight. Freezing cold.

OMG! It's SNOWING! o_O

OK, not really "snowing," but a few light flurries...just a few white flakes blowing around in the wind. Parts of Western WA are supposed to get some serious snow...up to 12" in places before the weekend is done.. I doubt we'll get anywhere near that...I'll be surprised if we get more than an inch or two at the most.

God we're supposed to hit 10 degrees Tuesday morning in freaking San Antonio, Texas. The lowest temperature I can ever remember here was when we hit 18 a few years ago, and it caused rolling blackouts when it did. We were in the high 70s / low 80s a couple of days ago and now we have been stuck in the 30s all day after the first of two big cold fronts has come in.

-21 feels like -27. Suppose to go down to -32 tonight. Working night shifts so I should probably get an extension cord to plug the vehicle.

Tonight's predicted snow storm has turned into an ice storm. Getting warnings from the county emergency services and the local electrical utility about power outages. Our power has been browning out and blinking on/off all evening.

Another cold one.

Just went out to plug my truck in, I figure an hour should be good enough. I try not to leave it all night since there's a bigger chance of having the cord stolen.

The area around Puget Sound got a shit ton of snow...as much as 12+ inches around Olympia/Tumwater. We got 1/2 to 3/4" of ice...and wide spread power outages from ice bringing down power lines...or tree limbs across power lines.
I think I'll be staying home for a while...don't want to venture out with the other idiots on the roads.

Third day of rain with possible freezing rain in the forecast for 2 days. Ground is saturated. This is traditional plant potato week. Will be to wet to plant.

London should make the short list on any list of great places to live in North America. Beautiful clean small city with a great Theater, There used to be reasonable Hungarian food on the north side of Dundas St just east of downtown. I miss my trips there.
The Budapest is still there but under management of younger relatives. Still has great food.

Our downtown now is so different and not in a good way.

A shame that we don't worry more about our downtown than the stock Market. Which one really matters?
