Had a pretty epic thunderstorm. Lots of thunder, lightning, power flickers and even a bit of localized flooding. That underpass floods all the time, I think they need to fix the drainage.

We had a pretty severe rainstorm blow thru too. Fair amount of lightning/thunder but high winds blowing the rain sideways. Cooled things off but the humidity went way up now.

Been somewhat cool latetly. Not typical for July but I'm sure the heat is coming. Today is a bit better, 19C. Was like 15C yesterday, but it was a cold 15.

I have some landscaping work to do, I should probably be doing that while it's cooler out instead of drinking coffee and neffing.

Cool and comfortable today with temp around 20C. It'll get back up into the 30s middle of next week. Forecast is pretty much rain every other day for the next 10 days. Not sure yet if the Elsa is going to come all the way up to NH.

there has been some rough weather but no tornadoes yet.

Cairo, Ontario is being investigated due to heavy damage from the storms. To me, it looked like a downburst rather than a tornado.

Environment Canada issued a special air quality statement for Timmins, Cochrane and Iroquois Falls on Sunday due to forest fire activity in the region.

13C right now which is kinda warm for nighttime. The nights are getting cooler now. Winter is coming.

20C but very humid. Now we have a heavy rainfall warning, up to 50mm. Should be fun. I took this opportunity to spread grass seed in places that need it.

I felt the sky looked odd this morning. Kind of orange. Just got a air quality warning right now due to forest fires in northwestern Ontario. Smoke is coming our way.

24C feels like 30 so another hot one today.

Surprised we don't actually have forest fires right in this area. The current ones are actually quite far, even though the smoke is making it all the way here.

Picture can't really justify it well but the air is definitely smoky, can see at the horizon mostly.
