Its been in the 90s with dew points in the 70s for a couple weeks, Three more days before before it drops. Shooting for the highest electric usage in the 10 yrs we've been at this location. Worth every penny.

We have local flooding now.

My friend's basement apartment is now flooded with 4 inches of water. He is mad.

99f (37c) tomorrow then things get cooler - hi 80s

Even the kitties are lethargic. Well, not so much the kittens. They seem to want to play. I'll have to get a laser pointer to put in the car so I can play with them either coming or going.

I'm at work and we're getting a torrential downpour here with some thunder. Power flickered a few times. Hopefully it doesn't go out. Not on -48v power in this building, just a little UPS.

97F at 5PM which isn't too bad for mid July, especially with a dewpoint of 68 instead of in the 70s. May and June were pretty ugly but July hasn't been too bad and we're forecast a nice cooldown with temps in the upper 80s to lower 90s next week and maybe through the end of the month per the NWS projections. I think they're projecting a hotter than average August which isn't fun since average high for early August is 97 but at least have had a decent July.

22C right now but going to go down to 15 overnight. Almost August, so we're at that point where the days are cooler, shorter, and nights start to get colder. It's crazy it's already near the end as it feels like it just started.

Good time of year to get stuff outside done though.
