Just curious - Anyone else here go to Eagles/Dixie Chicks in St Louis?

I'm in the city and didn't even know the concert was happening. I would have gone to see the Eagles...no interest in the Dixie chicks at all though. How much did tickets run? Was it at the ScottsTrade center?

It was at busch actually. completely awesome. the chicks were 'ok' but not my stuff, wife liked them better than I did. With the Eagles it was pretty much a stadium sing-along the entire concert. Best performance I've ever seen, I've been a hug fan of their music since the 80's and it all rocked.

Quick reflect on best thing last night.. Joe Walsh doing "Life's been good" LIVE. Henley, Frey and Walsh all did some of their solo stuff as well. Played for a little over 2hrs I think it was.

It was all good.

We had $50 seats 1st base line, 3 levels up. I think the field seats were something like $200. No complaints for the evening whatsoever.

From reviews I read of the Toronto concert, the Eagles were just mailing it in like they barely talk to each other anymore, whereas the Dixie Chicks offered an awesome performance. Eagles were said to be playing well technically but without emotion or improvisation, except for Joe Walsh.

I saw the Eagles a few years ago at Coors Amphitheater in San Diego. Good concert but I was disappointed that Don Felder is no longer with the band.
